A USEFUL FIRST BRIEF CAN BE SIMPLE.
If you have plans, dimensions or a developed concept, send them. If the project is earlier, photographs, a walkthrough video and a description of what needs to change are enough to begin a useful conversation.
For integrated projects, mention every discipline you already know may be involved—façade, signage, lighting, interior, fabrication, graphics or visualization—so the interfaces can be considered from the start.
